‘Business Doesn’t Exist’ Option Added to Business Redressal Complaint Form

Google my Business

In an attempt to clean up and address growing concerns among SEOs, Google updated its business redressal complaint form to add another option under the dropdown ‘Identify the content on Google Maps that you claim might lead to fraudulent activity.’

The redressal form aims at curbing businesses using misleading/wrong information, including the title, address, phone number and website.

Google, however, does not guarantee that action would be take just by submitting the complaint.

Businesses looking to update their Google My Business profile can use this checklist to ensure their information is up-to-date.
